In the realm of why Shogun is 2, the answer is that all your fights are a factor, not sure your last one. | I meant flash KO as in how quickly the fight ended after GSP got rocked. I probably should have used different terminology. Serra ended it quickly and in a flash-like fashion..hows that? lol Point being it was much different than the Forrest fight. Serious asskicking, definitely got worked to lock in the choke, either way you look at it he got beat handedly.
Would love to see a healthy Shogun get a rematch

Huge, dominating wins over Overeem, Little Nogs, Randleman, Arona, and Rampage...that's a huge resume.
I don't think he's got the resume...yet. I think he very well might within the year, but right now, I think Shogun has the better record.
If Shogun comes back to face Liddell and wins, I feel he's unquestionably the #1 contender. If he beats anyone else in the top 10, and Liddell and Wandi and Machida all keep winning, you could argue someone else for getting a shot, but time will tell. I think they'll set up Soku/Shogun, and it will end badly for Soku.
I think Rashad is not lucky at all to face Chuck. A year ago, he might have been lucky, but I think Chuck knows the only way he gets another shot is to keep winning, and will be more focused than ever. If Chuck shows up like he did for Wandi, he gives Evans his first loss in graphic fashion.
rh | I misunderstood your quote on the 40 lb weight difference. I thought you were talking about Forrest having 40lbs on Shogun so I was like :headscratch:
And youre right, Shogun's resume is very impressive, better than most in the LHW division, until he lost to Forrest, which is also the last time he fought so he's done nothing since losing to re-establish himself as a top 2 contender IMO. I hope he fights Forrest again and beats him so he can effectively neutralize that blemish on his resume.
What I meant by Rashad being lucky is that he is lucky to get a fight with a top guy like Liddell. IMO he needs another win over a top 10 guy to have the credibility to fight Liddell. So he's lucky he gets a shot at Liddell, which if he wins will boost his stock tremendously. I see Liddell giving Rashad his first glimpse at the dark side of conciousness when Chuck turns the lights out on him.

?????
even if not ranked at 2 Machida should easily be ranked over Chuck. He's had 3 straight top quality wins meanwhile Chuck has 1 Quality win, 1 quality loss, and one crazy ass upset no one expected.
Also, Sherk shouldn't be so low.

IMO Machida's run away strategy is just boring to watch, but W's are W's....

Biggest suprise to me is Shogun at #2 still after Forrest beat him. Dont get me wrong I love the gun ,but are they just forgetting that ever happened?? had to edit I guess they go off of all your fights not just last one. Still with a stacked LHW division I dont know if 2 is the right spot for him. He needs to fight again soon. Oh yeah and where is Torres at 145 and under????????
