It never crossed my mind that the reason the Undertaker would be a good fighter was because of his size. Before becoming a pro wrestler he was a bouncer, and before that he was a mob enforcer. Meaning if u didn't pay up, he would show up, break your knees, kick your teeth out....whatever it takes. That's a guy you don't want to mess with...not only is he physically imposing, but he's ruthless to the core and would do whatever it took to win a fight. I'm definitely not talking about the Undertaker now being a fighter....because in a few years he may actually need an undertaker. But the Undertaker from back when I think would definitely be a pretty decent fighter. And he is a guy with a legitimate passion and love for the sport of mma fighting. He wears mma gloves as a part of his ring gear and constantly tries to incorporate mma fighting into his wrestling choreography such as triangle chokes, arm bars, kimuras....all kinds of stuff.

I vaguely remember hearing something about him being a bouncer, but I have never heard anything about him being a mob enforcer. Where did you read that? I just did a google search on all the relavent terms and came up with nothing. Checking in the news groups and came up with nothing again.

In fact, I just found quite a few pages that list him as quitting college to persue wrestling. So...the mob enforcer bit...I do not think is true.

Haha to be honest....I'm not sure where I heard it. I believe it was in an interview he had once...maybe on one of his dvd's. I'm like 85-90 percent sure tho. Cuz I remember him making the comment "....it wasn't the most fun or rewarding thing to do. I had to come home every night and live with it. But the point was, I came home at night. I did what I had to do to make it in my life." ....something roughly like that.
