USA v. Canada PPV in '07!! - Page 2

From what i remember, it was the mos anticipated ppv in years. Not b/c of the us vs can concept, but b/c of the two main events.

i like the idea of an annual ppv, but make it a home and home, and without titles on the line it starts to sound like an ifl ppv, with the american team against the canadians. nothing wrong with that.

I think if they did it again, this time the event should take place in Montreal. But last time it was just because St. Pierre and Loiseau both were fighting in the main event against americans, then they decided to have the rest of the card follow the same gimmick. What happens if Hughes is champ next year and the number 1 contender is an american? Pass over the #1 contender to give a canadian a title shot that he doesn't deserve, not a good sitaution.
