Don't get me wrong. I am rooting fro Ken-Flo this Saturday, but I just think Sean Sherk is going to be the Matt Hughes of the LW division. Size-wise, he was a monster at WW, now he's dropping down. Plus he's a wrestling machine on top of that. What do u guys think?

Sherk will be the top dog at LW as long as Penn doesn't drop to LW.

this is going to be a really awesome division to watch in the next coming months. stacked with all kinds of scrappy guys. sherk is hella ripped for his size.

did sherk ever fight as a lw though? i am just curious as to why he is fighting for the title. should be a great fight though!

i think yevs (sp) edwards (my fav lw) is gonna b a force.. he demolished joe in that first round.. 2nd round ya joe came back but if not for that fissure in his head i think he wooda pulled out a decision in the 3rd.. but that is by far gonna be the most exciting division in the UFC..

as for sherk.. hes a monster.. and him losing to GSP is no thang cuz GSP is soooo amazing!! (/crazy fan bias) but i have sherk in this fight agasint ken-flo mainly cuz he is just an animal

Yves Edwards was let go by the UFC after his last loss. They offered him a new contract, but he turned it down to become a FA.

I think Sherk can be dominant as a LW, but it will be interesting to see how the loss of weight factors in. I'm just glad that we'll have a new LW champion after saturday night, then it will be easier to establish the pecking order in that division.

I think the question that has to be asked is can Sherk make weight without making himself Dehydrated? I hope he can, but it reamains to be seen
