What's next for CB?

- Learn to defend armbars
- Fight George Sotoropolis at UFC 88/89

the only thing that i hate about the fact that amir submitted CB twice is that i didnt get to see that guy get his face pounded in. I've been wanting to see that guy get his ass handed to him all season. forrest was right when he said that stuff about guys that talk crap and back it up...theres nothing worse. i'm really curious to see how the other guys from this season do against other fighters in the UFC. I think Matt Riddle, Matt Brown, and Tim Creduer will do really well. I'd also like to see jeremy may back in there because it's funny watching him get his face kicked in.

My pick for the show was Jesse but he had to go an be a douche an get kicked off, oh well.

CB needs imo to change to a different camp. ATT would probably do him a world of good. They have some very good bjj guys and strikers an right now thats what CB needs. IMO he needs to take 6 months or longer from fighting to just train on things that need to be worked on and then come back an kick ass.

Arizona Combat Sports isn't a camp par with others and for CB to reach his potential then he needs to have better training partners then Jesse Forbes.

what do all you armchair quarterbacks and fucking internet warriors know about a good camp

do you know anything about jiu jitsu? maybe you can teach him better then the all the world class jits competitors on AZ Combat's Jiu Jitsu competition team and our coach, 2x World champion Gustavo Dantas.

AZ Combat is the best gym you've never heard of. remember the name it'll be on your lips a lot in the future.

idk cb kinda rubbed me the wrong way, every interview the guy was in i swear all i could hear was him saying im going to pound his face in... wats he going to do wen im pounding his faced in... and so on and so forth. i really wanted amir to beat him in the finale. i dont like how hes losing fights and then goes for take downs and stalls and trys to just hold the guy down... wen he gets tired he does this too, at least from what ive seen against amir the first time and tim.

Ye hate to sound like a dick here but if we haven't heard of it that probably means there's not many good* MMA fighters coming out of it.
*By good I mean high level UFC/Dream fighters.

Now the only guy we have heard of is CB who in his last 2 fights got caught in an armbar and in previous fights looked susceptible to submissions. Therefore from that people will summarise that either A) He has no aptitude for learning BJJ or B) His camp AZ Combat isn't teaching him BJJ defense as well as it should.

It's like if I get subbed in my next fight with a simple armbar which we have been working my coaches will go mad at me because it was me makin a mistake but if I do it again and the same people see they will think my camp doesn't teach me bjj and will tell me to try a new one.

*Yes I fight, no I'm not amazing, yes your instructor would beat me, yes so would CB and Amir, my point however still stands*

I disagree that he has the most potential. I think Amir has a much better skillset and is more appealing the the fans. If they both improve at the same rate, I think Amir still out-distances him.

At that moment... he meant to.
I think it's his lack of experience in big fights. In training, it's probably become instinctive to tap when he gets caught, and I think he just forgot where he was for a moment.

There are so many more fighters who should apologize for stupid ass shit they do, one more on the list doesn't matter one way or the other. I don't like CB, but I don't think he owes anyone anything. He probably apologized to Amir, anyway, and that's the only one that counts.
