Nice! I hope they don't risk overexposure. They had Hughes/Penn II 3 weeks ago, now they just had Ultimate Fight Night and this saturday they have Franklin/Silva on another PPV. Hopefully Dana isn't trying to throw all his chips on the table at once, trying to maintain that demographic of 18-34. Cats tend to get bored quickly after awhile.
Remember the ratings and buyrates for the WWE at one point until things slided? They were getting mainstream too and a tremendous new fanbase until suddenly the large part of the fanbase turned it off from boredom.

Tito was a big part of this, but overall.. Shamrock really elevated the UFC from day 1 to now.. major props to him.

Shamrock vs Tank Abbot is a ratings winner for another Spike TV special. As bad as it sounds, people would watch that I'm sure. Particularly the casual fans.

This is not pro wrestling. The WWE is the exact same shit week after week. That’s why everyone got bored with it. MMA is an actual sport not just "sports entertainment". As long as the UFC has marketable fighters they should be fine.

For real....think pro sports. Football is on 3-4 days a week isn't it? Not only that but 2-3 times a day (at least on Sundays). I don't watch football but I think that's about right. And no one gets sick of that. No one gets sick of basketball or baseball. I think it just depends on how loyal of a fan base they build.
