It's like the end of Mallrats when Silent Bob finally talks, or that Nicholas Cage car movie where Vinnie Jones drops a bomb at the end.
That shit totally makes my day.
Thank you.
rh | I really don't understand what you're talking about Rivethead, you've been here for an awful long time as well, I was just pointing out why I left and from a number of threads i'm reading the last couple of days, not much has changed.
I'm not here to drop knowledge, just voice an opinion. My sincerest apologies to anyone who took my opinions as "out of nowhere" but my opinion is equally as important and viable as yours, but certainly not more. Lets respect everyone on this board who shows that respect back, please.

He did beat him 2 1/2 times already... it's not necessary, but god damn are those matches all amazing.

Sometimes an opinion drops knowledge, particularly when it's looking at things differently from everyone else.
I thought it was the best post in the thread, probably of the week.

In all honesty, that would probably be the only one that makes any sense because so much has changed since they fought last. Rampage is the champ and Wanderlei would be the one challenging for the title. I think Wanderlei needs 2-3 more solid wins before a shot but I'd be up for that one. However, if Wanderlei was the champ and Rampage was the challenger, my original opinion holds true. A challenger who holds 2 losses from the current champ doesn't get another title shot until the champ changes, retires, etc. 2 losses = owned.

I don't forsee a different outcome however I would be interested in seeing them fight again if there was a reason and circumstance behind it. Nog got battered 2 and 1/2 times so unless the UFC resigns Randy and either Barnett and or Arlovski and Nog beats them both, he really doesn't "deserve" to fight Fedor again I HATE saying that about someone like Nog but its true. its like Trigg said on the Pride DVD Nog MIGHT have the tools to beat Fedor someday but it may never happen because Fedor just happens to be above average in EVERY damn category you rank a fighter in, and constantly improved.
Yes he hasn't fought anyone of note in a while until now, but Fedor doesn't have the bad work ethic of a Chuck or even a Werdum who have both admitted they get lazy if they aren't competing. I can't see Fedor's skills having deteriorated even if he hasn't been active so to speak because I can see him as the type to be tweaking things and breaking things down in his downtime. .. and on top of that he hasn't taken any serious "beatings" so even at what's it 33 he's still got years of connecting foot to ass at a very high level ahead of him. I used to be one of the guys trying to disprove the Fedor myth, but the myth is very real haha. .. he's the newer well-rounded version of the Gracie mystique

Give me a Barnett/Fedor fight first. We've seen Minotauro/Fedor twice already. Barnett and Arlovski will be the only top HWs that Fedor has yet to fight after the Affliction card.
