If Diaz loses again is he going to keep hounding Noons? He doesn't take loses very well. Diego Sanchez beat him and he was totally being a girl about it. That's Giaz for you.
Diaz deserves a rematch just based on the outcome of the last fight alone... Just like when Couture lost to Belfort via cut, he had an immediate rematch because the fight was stopped short due to nothing that had to do with either fighters performance. Sure Noons was winning, but not by much... If Diaz didn't have tons of scar tissue Noons would not have won. What does winning a fight like that have to do with MMA?

The stoppage was also questionable... Diaz could still see and was still able to fight. Not only was it a bullshit stoppage, but he should have had an immediate title shot.

If Noons didn't win that fight none of us would even remember his sorry ass. Regardless if Diaz "deserves" a rematch or not, Noons is clearly ducking Diaz. It's all good thought... Diaz will win his next fight and then fight Noons after that and kick his stupid ass. And I have a feeling the Hawaiian boy will have to fight in Sacramento and will have to deal with getting heckeld by Central Valley Diaz fans all week around the event.

just my opinion too but isn't there a reason why cuts stop fights? if it were a street fight diaz would have been sightless and swollen until unconciousness. how does that not constitute getting fucked up? if it hadn't been stopped he definitely would have. if you want to take the victory away from noons you have to do the same for any cut. it's not kj's fault diaz cuts easy but everyone is victim to their own body's shortcomings. if someone asked me if kj beat diaz's ass i'd say yeah. c'mon now...one eye?

I agree with everything Palmas posted thus far.

Anyone that cant see that Noons is ducking Diaz is clearly blind,or retarded. He talks 5 minutes of nonstop shit on Diaz in the vid,but then when asked if he'll fight Diaz again its "errrmmm ummmm ermm welll hmmm y'know errrm". And he also mentions other top competition. Besides Diaz, who else is even worthy of a title shot over there??

I hope Diaz wrecks this kid.

When you get through all the "bullshit stoppages" or "questionable this and that's" bottom line is a win is a win. As corny or gay as it sounds, whether you win by an inch or by a mile winning is winning. Although a rematch, imo, is definitlety a good idea. Scar tissue or not, Diaz has mad skills and after he gets a win or 2 under his belt let him get his shot.

Look at it this way:
Noons say's two things: Diaz needs to get it line and it's about the dollar bills. So, Noons takes a few fights first, gets his money, most likely keeps the title in the process, then fights Diaz. So Noons makes the money while Diaz "gets in line", then they fight. Either way, win or lose, Noons get's what he wants. If he were to fight Diaz right away and lose, where would he be? Outta money, no title, and probably fighting in the prelims.

This is what I think he is doing. Sounds like a good strategy to me.

It is funny how people were screaming for a Lawler/Scott rematch because of the stoppage ( yeah I know it wasn't due to a cut ) but are giving Diaz hard time for asking about rematch.

As people said Diaz got worse beating from Gomi before submitting him and the only reason why I wouldn't give him rematch in the next fight is because he missed weight in the last one ( regardless of the reason ). So in my mind, Diaz should have one fight, make weight and than get a rematch with KJ
