I agree with you. And it isn't scar tissue that was the primary focus of the operation. It was the dulling of very sharp bones above the eye, which made Nick a lot easier to cut. The scar tissue was taken out because the doctor might as well, he had to get through it to dull the bones.
I think Noons is being very immature in this situation. The little confrontation after his recent defense is OK, it sells the fight. But the confrontation a couple of days later outside of the hotel, and now this verbal bashing of Diaz just days after it is announced this Diaz doesn't even get a shot at Noons yet? That is retarded. Noons needs to keep his mouth shut and keep his focus on making people forget that he got sent to dream street by Bennett.
