Wait a second. So Mir breaks Sylvia's arm and ends up at the bottom of the graph with only a direct path from Marcio Cruz? I don't get this graph at all. There's about four or five fighters I know he could beat on there. And in a rematch, I don't think Vera would stomp him the way he did in their fight.
So this BS is only is only going off the past 3 years?
And what the fuck does this mean Quote:
Loops
Nogueira = Herring
Filipovic > Barnett > Hunt > Filipovic
| Really? Big Nog equals Herring? Flipovic is greater than Barnett who's greater than Hunt who's greater than Flipovic. Talk about applying some BS mma math. Just call it a "Loop" and it all makes sense. Yeah right. This is the dumbest fucking waste of time. Shit like this makes me mad.

If/when BJ moves up he wont have to go anywhere to test himself.

1st off, Nog's BJJ >>>> Mir's BJJ. Perhaps more improtantly, Mir gasses in all of his fights that go the distance(or past 1 1/2 round for that matter).
Nog however gets more and more dangerous as the fight goes on. He has the uncanny ability to take the absolute worst punishment and pull out the late sub.
Mir does not have the tools to do significant damage to Nog (Nog's boxing is way better). What Mir will do is gas and get subbed in the late 2nd, early 3rd.
Lastly, i am still not convinced that Mir is the same fighter after his accident. I just can't grasp the notion of a jits guy completely shattering his hip, and ever being the same again.
By the way, i am a Frank Mir fan. My .02

That WW graph makes me realize the potential matchups there are for GSP.
I wonder where Anthony Johnson will be after his next fight.

My .02 | first i think that mir has more bjj ?credentials? then big nog, could someone find the right info to prove me right/wrong? i also think mir has a chance but not much, myself i will be pulling for mir, i might even be betting on him. i dont know how he wins but i believe that he can. no one thought he could beat tim or brock and he did so in the 1st rounds. so can someone plz post the diffs between mir and nog bjj. as far as i thought nogs only been training bjj since he saw gracie in the 1st couple ufcs, mirs been traing bjj and karate since he was a boy. plz someone post proof ofthis

It doesn't really matter how long you train BJJ for, Mir is a lower level black belt and out of the grappling matches I have seen he looked not so hot
and tons of people expected him to beat Lesnar.

The concept of this Fightlines approach is interesting, but the actual application does appear kind of illogical.
And as for the Mir-Nog discussion, there's little to discuss here. Nog is a huge favorite to win that fight and get a title defense under his belt, thus becoming the first person to successfully defend a belt in both PRIDE and the UFC (after having already become the first to hold belts in both promotions).
