I like most of the predictions except for the title fights.I can't see Rich Franklin defeating Anderson Silva.I found it funny how you stated that Rich on another level as far as striking is concerned. Are you serious with that statement?Anderson Silva is one of the greatest strikers at MW.Silva's extremely accurate and has good hand speed ,not to mention more than enough power to to KO Rich.I also found it humorous when you stated that Anderson Silva has yet to face as good a striker as Rich Franklin.Anderson Silva has fought and defeated a lot better strikers than Rich has fought. My prediction is that Anderson Silva wins by KO in the first.Rich might be able to make it to the second round ,but Silva will probably come out agressive and finish Rich quickly.

Also I think your giving Kenflo too much credit.I don't think he'll be able to last 3 rounds.I'm a big Kenflo fan and I hope he pulls out the victory ,but I don't think he'll pose that big of a threat to kenflo.

The tournament could be spanned out in 3 PPVs or UFNs, whatever is decided on.

Outstanding! That is probably the best idea I have heard in months. A LH tournament would have 1000 times the credibility over the current arbitrary match-up.

Hey people its always great to have a debate but for all of you who are counting Kenflo out...come one......yeah I would give Shrek the win but anything CAN happen...just look at the Pulver - Lauzon fight....if that didnt tell you anything can happen I dont know what will......they had Pulver a 7-1 favorite most where ready to give him the Lightweight belt back after he destroyed Lauzon including me and HOLY SHIT everyone knew what happened. Shrek is a great MMA fighter but if anyone gets caught by one of the elbows or a knock on a the chin its light out baby.

I didn't say he was on another level than Silva, i just said than anyone he's faced. Name some people Silva has fought that have the all around skill standing that Franklin has. I don't mean more power, i mean all around striking skills. Not on his resume you won't.

I have Franklin beating Silva, but I think Silva has much more than a "puncher's chance". Silva is one of the top strikers in the game and has never been KO'd or TKO'd. Rich will be coming into this fight a little rusty, and if he comes in throwing some off shots I think Silva can catch him easily. With all that said, Rich is the physically bigger and stronger fighter. I think if he can get Silva to the ground he can take it with a sub or muscle out a decision. It should be a good fight either way and I am very much looking forward to it.

I agree with most of the other predictions except have I have Hironaka beating Fitch. It should be a close fight, but I have a gut feeling that Hironaka will edge Fitch out. I also have Okami defeating Starnes via decision.

this has shown to be the year of upsets and this PPV will have a few i believe. once Lauzon beats Fisher, they'll be known as the Millitech killers or something LOL...anyways here are my picks:

Kongo
Pelligrino
Guida
Fitch
Okami
Sherk

and ofcourse my three upset victories...

Nickels...no one is giving him a chance in hell. but honestly, who has Jardine fought either? if this goes to the ground, Jardine will be submitted. his hope is to keep it standing. Nickels will surprise a lot of people, and if im wrong then im wrong.

Lauzon...i see another Millitech fighter being upset by a Lauzon. i dunno, i just see it happening. Fisher is a bad ass, but i dunno it's just a feeling.

Silva...i just see his fist crashing against Franklin's chin and KOing him! would not surprise me at all if Franklin wins, but i just see it being SIlva's night.

I would have to agree w/ Killer Instinct. Loiseau, and Lyoto are the only two notably strong strikers Farnklins faced(Loiseau w/ big single blow elbows that will cut, not combo's or flurries that will k.o.). Lyoto won the decision and if I'm not mistaken has much less of a reach advantage. AA is quick straight down the middle punching style that IMO will counter the dirty clinch work of Franklin. And come on, anything can happen but that doesnt mean its likely Sherk will eat Florian 9/10 times. the only questions is will Florian be resurected on the sevent day.

See but one thing you're failing to realize was the reasoning behind my statement. I was saying that people may overestimate Silva because of his recent performance and think he may just overwhelm Rich standing which isn't happening. My prediction is not a knockout it's Rich hurting Silva standing then getting a submission late in the fight. Rich will have the cardio edge, and the ground game advantage, and being i don't think Silva is all that much a better striker than Rich that's my reasoning for saying Silva has a puncher's chance, that's it. People will see Saturday why Rich is the #1 MW in the world and a top pound for pound fighter in the world, he'll beat Silva, maybe not completely easy but it will be in convincing fashion. I'll be happy to eat my words if it doesn't happen, but if/when it does, then you will all come back and tell me i was right.
