And i think you're wrong, we did see the Rampage we expected to see, but only in the first person. IMO the leg kicks really took a toll on Rampage and forced him to fight different.
The fact that people can think it's a fix without news of it getting out is out of my understanding. I don't think Dana would be able to even tell Forrest he hopes he wins without the whole world knowing about it. | I didn't say Shogun's fight was a fix did I? I don't think this fight was a fix either mate I'm only speculating.
If you're saying we saw the same Rampage we usually see why couldn't he finish Forrest when he was hurt in the first? He just laid on top of him and rested for like 30 seconds.. the old Rampage would be whooping that ass especially in the first round!

It takes away from the fact that he can't perform the same way against upper echelon fighters as he does against lower skilled. This is the way with all fighters. You can't always do what you want when you want. Someone has made it their job to stop you. And some can. That's all.

That's all. | If you're an athlete a TRUE athlete like I believe Rampage is you can do more than nothing. You can do more than lay on someone for 30 seconds and DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.. in the first round mind you. If you CAN'T throw a few punches or try to improve position when someones hurt that early in the fight there has to be a problem with your conditioning or something. What did Forrest do that was so amazing in the first round that stopped Quinton from pouncing on him and stopping it in the first? Was his knee really THAT badly injured?

I was a nationally ranked athlete, and as I said, some people don't allow you to look spectacular. Sometimes it's just style, sometimes it's small little things they do to neutralize you're strengths. I lost to some unranked guy i'd never heard of. He wasn't even very good. To this day I have no idea how it happen. It haunts me. lol. Not really too old for that now, but at their level, you'd be surprised.

Getting in the cage that is.. I hope nobody surprises me with an ass whoopin. |
