For all the Forrest bashers....
The dude just won, give him some respect and stop hatin on him!!! Are you seriously gonna downplay and make excuses for every fight that he wins? Fighters don't just lose fights, some fighters just actually win them. None of us are Las Vegas fight commission judges so who are we to take a win away from someone who has trained their A$$ off and earned the title. It obviously is not a fluke that he got a title shot, so why cant he win it?
Relax and let him actually lose before you talk crap about him.

Everyone whos mad and saying Shogun and Page both had poor showings against Forrest no shit they had poor showings cause Forrest came in with good gameplans both time you cant use that as a way to discredit the wins. This is pretty crazy I guess Forrest is gonna have to KO Fedor and Anderson in back to back fights to get some credit. I wanna see him fight Machida next I think it will be another close war and Forrest usually tends to pull those out

Personally I had it 48-47 for Forrest and this is after having a hard time juding the 5th round but you could've given that to Rampage as well. I was just very surprised with the judging though.
Two judges gave it 48-46 and one judge gave it 49-46. So that means two of the judges gave two rounds to rampage and the other 3 rounds to Forrest like I did. However, they thought that Forrest got a 10-8 round 2. A dominant position the whole round does NOT equate to dominating your opponent! That part really got to me.
As for 49-46. That judge was just plain retarded. Forrest did not win 4 rounds.
Although I thought it was going to be a split decision.. it wasn't. However, I agree with the decision but definitely not how the rounds were judged. This discrepancy between judges is starting to piss me off.
Props to Forrest though, cuz I was even saying to my friends, the only think that Forrest has over Rampage is kicks and he utilized it really well.

There is no comparison to how Forrest fought and how Machida fought. To compare the two fight is retarded.

Fuck, I hate absolutely everything you've said tonight and now this one takes the cake. Forrest fought a war against Rampage tonight and he deserves his title. As far as Wandy, Rashad, Chuck, and Machida all beating him... Well every single one of those is debatable (although even I have to admit Machida is scary good).
Anyways, your negative posts have really been bringing me down, but all I can really say is, cheers mate... I hope we agree in the future

Great fight. But I'm also surprised by that decision. I had i VERY close and it could have gone either way. Forrest did not whoop Quintons ass...maybe his leg. But who whooped who´s face?
The 49-46 judge. I wonder if he thought laying on top of Quinton for one round made it 10-8?
To BE the champ you have to BEAT the champ. And I don't think Forrest did that. But congratulations to Forrest. He's a great fighter!

To everyone who is wondering what happened to Rampage to make him look so flat, the leg kicks are what did it.
