To me it seems the UFC is trying to build him up slowly on the prelims untill he's ready to step up his competition.

That's what I figure. If he can pull off a few more wins by mid-late next year then you never know.

With Hill being so tall and lanky, I think he could pull off some great submissions if trained right. For his standup, I think his ideal build would be that of Anthony Johnson's......

He is green but a stint in the wec may do him good. Get some wins under his belt and work with some good BJJ guys. I thought he was gonna work with Horn...

At 155 Hill has several disadvantages that he cannot train. He will usually be the slowest fighter in the ring at that weight. Whether its actual slowness or just from the cut, but he is not quick enough to hang with anone in the top 15 at the class.
Too tall, its an advantage until he fight hits floor, and then it becomes a huge disadvantage. He's so long limbed that even when he thinks he has his arm or leg out, its still in there and at risk.
Given favorable matchups, which is rare considering how many well rounded 155ers there are, Hill can succeed, but if he drops another at LW, he should consider bulking up and taking it to WW where he could become one of only a handfull of strikers.

He looked vastly improved in my opinion. He only has 3 pro fights people, relax on the "He'll be stuck to undercards for ENTERNITY Z0MG" comments.

I agree it didn't look like he had that much power behind his punches, but he sure was tossing him around the cage. I looked at the fight and when he got head kicked he just stood there for a sec frozen, like "Was that his leg?" And he didn't like any of those leg kicks, then again he does have some chicken legs.
I honestly think he would be better at 170, he could put on some more muscle and still would be much taller than most of the welterweight division.
