Or a man trying to get his fighter his win bonus which is worth what $225k? Not to mention retain his title.

If it was a clear cut fight then sad yes, but given the circumstances how can you even say that? LHW UFC champion is the biggest honor in MMA right now and is worth millions of dollars in endorsements. It's more about money than pride IMO.

These guys (Rampage and Ibarra) fucking suck. I just logged onto the site for the first time today and literally cannot believe the fucking title of this thread. I'm going to be rooting against Rampage every fight now until he retires.

For those of you (including Ibarra) who are - unimaginably to me - still claiming the first round was a 10-8 round, let me recite what I posted in another thread on Sunday:

We've both watched a ton of MMA fights. A ton of them have featured knockdowns. You tell me how many times the fighter knocking the guy down was granted a 10-8 round, especially when he clearly lost the rest of the round.

I'll bet you you can't name two, much less enough to rely on it as precedent to back up your argument.

That offer is still open to anyone. 10-8 round because he knocked the guy down and did nothing with it, staying dominant for like 45 seconds, after (and then before also) getting outfought by the guy?!?!? Basically never happens in MMA. Please point out a couple examples where I am wrong.

These guys are sore losers and they fucking suck. Worst champion ever.

You need to read what I wrote again. If you(or anyone else) called the round 10-8 for Rampage simply BECAUSE of the knockdown...then yes, you're a moron : )

I know plenty of my own friends who scored that round for Rampage...but they scored it 10-9...not 10-8.

This is just a ploy to get a rematch as soon as possible, I think it will work too. Ibarra just wants his man to get the belt back in what was a contraversial decision. If they fight again Rampage will win and then they are happy. Personally I think they should just lick their wounds and let things take there course. Rampage will get the belt back eventually and we will get to see great fights on the way.
