Are you pleased as a business man that Forest got the nod? Or was Quinton a more marketable and profittable champion?

You can still be marketable/profitable without being the champion. Look at Tito, Chuck(still biggest draw), Wand, Hughes, Franklin, etc. Anyways I think Dana may be pleased that Forrest won because it gives his show, TUF, more credibility and also shakes things up more for the LHW division to where more gates have been opened.

i think it was a no lose situation for Dana,,on 1 hand you have Page who is outspoken,funny as hell, brash, and has a great personality,,and then with Griffen hes pretty much the same ,,just a cool dude,, a kind of guy that you can just go have a few beers with,,, highly likable,, hes a guy with huge heart that works his ass off and is a perpetual underdog,,IMO either way Dana has a marketable fighter who is a fan favorite.

Of course he's happy its the best case scenerio for him. Forrest is a fan favourite of the UFC, he's seriously getting up there with Chuck.
Also, it legitimizes the whole TUF show. He was the best fighter, now he won the belt. With TUF ratings at an all time low, this couldn't have come at a better time. Plus, anytime the belt changes hands, it sets up a whole world of new match ups. Dana is salivating at the possible money making matchups that have just been opened.

It was a win for Zuffa either way. Both Jackson and Griffin are great champs. I think Forrest might be just a lil more well known to the casual fan though.

It works out perfectly!
Rampage will be a money makerwith or without the title, and without the belt it opens up the potential match ups to better marketable fights - Shogun, Chuck, Wand, Evans (just want to see Rashad dropped on his head)
And Forrest as champion is gold, Forrest now makes more money. It'll be a title fight, not just a normal fight. Rampage/ vs any of the previous names will sell huge. Whereas Forrest and any of those names without a title on the line would only sell 65 to 75% as much.
From a business standpoint, this was the ideal scenario for Dana. And whether Rampage admits it or not, its almost better for him as well.
