From a business perspective I don't see how this makes any sense....obviously the same for the unaired Gonzaga fight. This is especially confusing considering there have been past complaints about shady payouts for some UFC fighters. 
Instead of shortchanging fighters on a card Dana now greatly rewards some ppl for unaired prelim fights...I don't get it.

i still think its bullshit that fighters get paid $5000 and $4000 for a fight..
if they get busted open like Marvin Eastman or Kaleb, it wont even cover for the ambulance ride to the hospital.

It is bullshit. But what are they going to do, turn down the contract? lol Dana doesn't care if they don't fight for him, so if they want 10k and they're offered 5k, Dana's just going to say "bye". Then charge them for wasting his time.
