Of course I am no Newbie been watching since UFC1, just saying this guy was considered the best LHW fighter not long ago (in my eyes way overrated).
Then he comes to the UFC and gets out worked by Griffin then gets hurt or was hurt who knows.
He's still with Chute Box which is know for there bad cardio I just don't think Shogun will ever be a success in the UFC and if he fought Forrest 20 more times he be defeated 20 more times.

Your Forrest nuthuggary is approaching critical levels and while you're there ask him about how bad ACL injuries are.

Not a Forrest nutthugger actually was accused of not giving Forrest his due when I warned people not to jump on the Forrest bandwagon after the Rampage fight.
Anyway was Shogun hurt in that fight? if he wasn't then doesn't have an excuse.
I just don't believe the shogun hype anymore.

Maybe I am wrong we will see when he comes back, maybe the old Shogun will return.

Yes, Shogun had a knee injury before the fight, and couldn't train properly. He had his first knee surgery days after the fight, but didn't publicize it or discuss the injury as an excuse, because he doesn't make excuses; he's a fighter.

As for not believing the Shogun hype "anymore" didn't you already say you thought he was overrated going into the Griffin fight? I'm curious as to who you think was better than him?

Exactly, like when hundreds of thousands of people claim to have been "in the audience" for the first small club show of a band that later made it huge....when that first show actually had a couple hundred people max in attendance...

Yep beating Rampage, Lil nog, Arona, Gono, Nakamura, Overeem, and Randleman plus winning the pride gp is overrated?

Chute boxe known for their bad cardio? Did you ever see Shogun's fights in pride? He could go balls out for 20 minutes straight without gassing. Didn't you figure there was something wrong that he gassed within 6 minutes? Well pretty much everyone who knew what Shogun was about did so! Then we found out that he had an injury walking into the fight and obviously a ruptured acl will hurt ur cardio bad.

and before you ever start saying yea shogun had to make excuses. He never did... it was one of his trainers who revealed the injury. Shogun never used it as an excuse.
