I'll be rooting for Irvin, but I won't be surprised if he doesn't win. I'd like to see him come out and start throwing with Silva for 3-4 minutes, then have a decisive winner. I just don't want any controversy and I'll be a happy fan.

If Irvin had some wrestling, I'd definitely see this being a tough bout for Anderson, as that seems to be the one area in which he's not absolutely perfect.
I'll be pretty shocked (and a little tickled) if Irvin wins, but LOL at him saying that Silva doesn't have one-punch KO power...we haven't seen him do it in the UFC yet, but he KO'd Leben (who probably has one of the top five jaws in MMA), and seriously rocked Hendo before he choked him out.

Irvin has a punchers chance to KO anyone. I would love to see him go for a flying knee to start off the fight. That KO of Martin was just amazing, lol. He might get KTFO but you can guarantee this fight will be damn exciting, even if it only lasts a few minutes.

Doesn't matter if Silva has 1 punch KO power. Because Anderson isn't hitting you with just 1 punch.
I would think people wish he had Chuck Liddell power so it could be over faster, but nope instead he punches you 5 times, kicks you in the face then clinches you an knees you 8 times.
He hits you with everything, if you think you can withstand his punches, well fuck go ahead stand in front of him. But its not the punches you need to watch out for, its the knees and kicks and elbows that follow within seconds.
I defiantly am not counting Irvin out because he has good power an decent striking and isn't scared to take a risk. But if he thinks he can just go stand in front of Anderson with no worries then fuck it will be a short night.

Irvin is crazy if he thinks Silva doesn't have KO power. The Leben fight has already been mentioned but it says it all.
I still think there will be a submission victory for Silva in the end, but this matchup should make for some fireworks.
