Like you'd ever hear the day the UFC says oh yeah we'll give you Anderson Silva to fight Matt Lindland on your card if you give us Fedor to Fight Randy

Dana wants to see the Affliction promotion gone.. he doesn't want any competition and he will try to destroy any that comes close to challenging him.
What needs to happen is one single promotion needs to emerge as a rival to the UFC headed by a Billionaire that is willing to spend around 300 million dollars roughly around what the International Cricket Council (ICC) is investing to promote Cricket in the U.S.
Someone needs to have that kind of money and get a network deal, it doesn't need to be on a major network UFC proved that, but a deal with HBO would be great and a business model to really pump up your promotion brand name for example if you were to call your promotion The World Fighting League (WFL), really push that name creating cheap cool looking merchandise with that name. Then get stars 2 to 4 big names stars that people will recognize in the U.S.. Then just really make your self know bring in Pro Wrestlers, Boxers get those fans from other combats sports over watching you.

Of course they are paying out a lot of money and are assumed to take a loss in the beginning. They have Trump behind them and are bringing in HUGE names in their first show, so that is why I expect big things from them. You have to lose some to win some....

. | I would love to see it but I just can't see a billionaire giving up roughly 1/3 of his money and if he /she did they would have to give up everything else they did to make what money they have to oversea the new organization of MMA. There is too much money involved in MMA now. I don't think anyone else (alone) can do what Dana and the Feritta brothers did when MMA was in it's infancy.

I see good things happening for Affliction in the next year or so. | Whatever.... That's called ass kissing, in hopes the UFC will help them to make more money.... I honestly think if there is ever one
true" champion, then MMA will turn into a business like boxing, and that will be heartbreaking. I think the biggest reason Dana and company are resisting certain changes in MMA is that they built the UFC to not be like boxing, and are trying to keep a difference in how the sports are run..
