"His clinch isn't that technical," says Irvin with a stroke induced lisp after taking 5 big knee shots to the face lying face down in a puddle of blood and drool.

Irvin to win. I don't know why but I just see a big knee in Silva's future.

Didn't Irvin fight at 235 lbs previously? He is a huge LHW and I think Silva will look like starving marvin at LHW as he does now at MW :-)

Silvas lanky arms and legs make him look a lot smaller than he really is. Look at his pics up close next to any of his supposedly "larger" opponents (hendo, franklin, etc...) you'll see what I'm talking about. Silva is a big middleweight and considered fighting at 205 when he went to pride.

Front row should win you some James Irvin teeth.
Its gonna be a KO in KO reel fashion.

I'm not comparing Irvin to Leben, but in my mind I see this fight going down just like Silva v. Leben.

I think Irvin has alot of respect for Silva, but is underestimating him. Franklin's mistake was thinking he'd be stronger than Silva in the clinch and we saw what happened there. I'm surprised too that Irvin said he's willing to take 3 or 4 of Silva's big ones to give 1. If he takes that many, the fight is over. We've seen it too many times. Once Silva starts a deadly combo, his opponent is done for. My prediction is Siva by round 2 at the latest.
