If they're gonna do it they should do it ASAP, because Ken is obviously just about used up, and Frank has a couple of years of big money fights left in him. It makes no sense to do a long build on such an obvious brother vs. brother angle, especially when they are both part of the original championship lineage of the HW and LHW belts in the UFC

This sounds retarded. Frank hasn't really lost since the mid 90s. Renzo doesn't count IMO because no time on the ground did Renzo throw a punch. Frank did more damage off his back and Frank destroyed him standing.

Just from my knowlege of what good standup is supposed to look like, I can tell Frank has better standup than Rich, the only reason you think Frank doesn't have a possiblity of beating him is because you havent seen Frank fight any top comp besides Cung Le and most people on here undestimate Cung as well. With the exception of maybe Hendo or Silva, Cung beats every fucking MW out there.

Cung's standup is too fucking good for most fighters and his TDD is good enough to avoid being taken down by most as well.

Robbie isn't better then Franklin, his striking isn't better, doubt he has more power, and Franklin is more well rounded as a fighter, this is my opinion. I just don't think Robbie is that good.

I think he would beat them both. I wasn't trying to say Robbie is any better than Frank, I think both of those fights would be great.

Edit: I think Lawler has improved over the years. He really outclassed Ninja which is nothing to take lightly.

While I'm glad that you skipped class in second grade when the teacher was covering "fact and opinion," I still believe that Franklin would murder Shamrock.

I've been watching MMA since 1993, and I've seen PLENTY of Shamrock fights. He hasn't had a stellar career. He got his ass handed to him by Cung Le(who is decent, but needs more experience. And for the record, who has he fought? Right.) save the last 30 seconds, he KNOWINGLY was breaking the rules against Renzo--of which he also gave some BULLSHIT excuses for, and now is calling out a man who is almost on his death bed.


Despite the AWESOME stand-up Frank showed against...ahem....Phil Baroni and despite the AWESOME stand-up Frank showed against Cung Le(re: he got his ass kicked), Frank's stand up is not NEARLY as good as Rich's.


I don't give ten shits what you THINK you know about stand-up, it's an "opinion" regardless. And in MY opinion, Ace would be picking apart Shamrock's face as soon as the bell rang.

Considering Franklin has losses against Machida and Silva(both of whom would eat Shamrock's children), I think he'd be plenty prepared for Glamrock.

I gotta say Harlem i respect your opinion,but I think you are wrong I agree with Dork and gotblood. I think Frank is a good fighter,but Rich is a great fighter. It's like comparing Fedor to Bob Sapp. Sapp is a decent fighter,but Fedor is a great fighter.
