I hope Machida can finish this fight. I like Machida more and more each fight and dislike Silva more and more. Here's hoping for a highlight reel karate kick to the jaw, round 1 KO. War Machida.

Who has he beaten in the UFC to warrent a title shot right now? Tito? Soukodjou? Neither are top contenders.

Jardine, Evans, Liddell, Jackson, (Wanderlei) Silva, etc. are top contenders.

He is fighting exactly who he needs to fight - both have similair records. I would even say that the winner of this fight would need to win one more against a contender to then be granted a shot.

If this happens it's a travesty. Either of these 2 (I got Thiago if it does happen) could beat any of the "name" 205ers but they don't get the chance.

Seems like the UFC is protecting their investment of big name 205ers.
