If I had to guess I would say Chuck fights ASAP against someone (when he's healthy of course) then gets the next title shot...or gets one now. $$$$ is pretty much my only reason behind that. It's 100% unfair but it's fuckin Chuck the money making machine.

The sad part is I was thinking of the division and you can make a case for or against every other person in this division getting a title shot.

dude, he's undefeated! who the hell else can boast that? i don't care if they're not top notch competition, he's beat every one he's faced. that has to count to something. I feel like they're dickn mach around cause he's not very exciting, but a victory is a victory so if the people he's beaten are not top notch that means he'd have to go like 20-0 to get a shot? bogus, undefeated should be respected a little bit more :headscratch:

Honestly i don't see how this will go to decision.

Thiago is aggressive, sloppy and i think he has a less then stellar chin.

So either him being aggressive an swinging like a wild man will knock Machida out, or he will get tko'ed in the process.

I am going with Thiago getting tko'ed.

This is the perfect style for Machida to win by a finish.

I like Thiago, just not sold on him being any good.

Would be really shocked to see Lyoto lose this fight.

explain to me logically who is more deserving of a title shot if its not the winner of Machida vs Thiago Silva.


I'm confident that Machida can win this fight but I just really hope he gets a good ko or submission to shut up all the haters

If Machida wins this fight and doesnt get a title shot, then it will be pretty obvious that the UFC does not want him as their champion.
