| Something Wrong with Franklin...
OK! I am the Ultimate Rich Frankin fan, and I am completely confused on what just happened. Did anyone else notice that Rich was crying as he walked to the cage. He was staring at the lights like he had just heard some REALLY bad news. He walked past every fan like he didn't even know they were there. I recorded the fight, and I have watched it over and over again and SOMETHING IS WRONG!!! His wife (standing next to a very worried Hughes) was crying even before Rich made it to the cage, and he himself was biting his lip to hold back the tears. I just don't see how a title holder who fights with a broken hand, can't get out of a clinch, or even try for that matter. I honestly don't think he wanted to. I think he was just wanting the fight to be over, so he could leave. I know it is a very long 3 hours, and maybe I just stepped away at the wrong moment, but did ANYONE ever catch a shot of Franklin's locker room before the fight, because I didn't...and that never happens. I WANT A RE-MATCH with the TITLE HOLDER I KNOW!!!! We all have problems that come up at the wrong time, and if Silva wants to prove to the world that he is the best...he needs to fight FRANKIN AGAIN!!!!!!! DANA!!! I know you don't remember me, and thats ok, but I talked to you in a hotel gift shop in LA during UFC 60. You told me thanks for the support, and to keep watching. WELL, I WANT TO SEE THAT AGAIN!!! And if Rich is dealing with some shit right now, and doesn't feel up to it...give me a call. I'll be happy to show Silva that HE IS NOT the best middle weight fighter in the world!

Hughes was just worried that Franklin was gunna get f*cked up! same goes for his wife LOL! here is the start of the excuses for Franklin losing crap...just like we get chastised for arguing why BJ lost to Hughes. Rich was beaten by a better fighter. nuff said.

i first want to start by saying that silva looked amazing tonight. i don't know if franklin was off his game or what, but silva looked utterly amazing. franklin is probably my favorite active fighter in the world right now and i have to say he just wasn't himself tonight. i'm not making excuses because silva took him apart fair and square, but i really don't think ace was fighting the fight he planned on fighting or anything. i've been pretty confident in franklin's ability, even against silva up until the sherk/florian decision, then i got a bad feeling and it turned out to be true.
congrats to silva for fighting a perfect fight against a world class athlete and coming out on top.

i don't understand what rich's strategy was staying in the muay thai clinch. after the fight he said the clinch would be his sweet spot. but it was just a pillow for silva's knee. :banghead: damn you rich. rich even called my house during to promote it two or three days before the fight. but anyways, if rich couldn't spin out of the clinch, he should have tackled silva and fucking won. who's gonna fight silva next? (i can't wait to watch pierre kill hughes )

Silva totally dominated. He was VERY accurate. He was the best fighter. No excuses for Ffanklin. I did noticed that Fankilin didn't have the intensity as he walked to the cage. He did NOT look like himself.
Where's all the post fight interviews.

i noticed as franklin walked out he looked beaten i told my wife i thought he bet a lot of money against himself or something. it almost looked staged, but watch as he is in the ring he stretches look at his stomach when he turns left and right. he went in the fight with a broken rib.plus his girlfriend was already acting like the fight was over.watch and see.
