now that silva has won. hu do u think will be his first challenger?

I imagine first will be either Marquardt or the winner of TUF4. It depends on how long it's drawn out before the TUF guys get their title shots.

Most likely he will fight the TUF 4 winner and after that Matt Hughes. Matt Hughes openly states on ESPN he would like to fight for a second belt but did not want to fight Rich Franklin because they were such good friends. I think the UFC and both fighters could make a lot of money off that fight and would look forward to seeing Hughes V Silva.

Winner of TUF4...already was stated by dana they got to fight the winner of Franklin/Silva...and the other is the winner of Hughes/GSP...i would imagine Swick would be next if Rich doesn't get a rubber match

Mike Swick or David Loiseau can give him a good challenge although I don't see both men beating him.By the way the winner of the Ultimate Fighter 4 middleweight division should get a crack as well.

Hughes does not have a chance even if he was a great welterweight he';; be overwhelmed by Silva.

either Swick or TUF 4 winner.UFC isn't showing any respect for Marquart and considering his fight wasn't even shown on UFN I doubt he'll be in line for any title shots any time soon.The most deserving would be Matt Lindland.They should bring Matt back for a title shot.That and they should try to get Jeremy Horn back ,since the reason they let him go was he wouldn't fight Rich Franklin ,who at the time was champ.

well First off.. I believe that Nether tuf 4 winner or mike swick has a chance against silva. But at the same time they will need to a few fighter for him to fight before franklin fights him again. We all have seen how excellent is stand up game is. Also he is very good at bjj and the ground. My opinon is Maybe Franklin can cake him in a rematch, or I think give Dean lister a year or so and he will dominate the mw divsion. Lister striking sucks, Yes but you do not need to be a great stiker to defeat people, and there is no way Lister can out stike Silva. Lister has a really strong upper body, One of the best Bjj fighter in the game. No way is Lister getting tapped. He uses he strengh and size to over power silva and win by point. Hopefully by then trainning up in big bear and with tito he will learn how to ground and pound by then as well.
