I like the popularity of the UFC. It's turning into a main-stream sport (I thought that's what everybody wanted).

Some MMA fans sound like the stuck up punk rock kids who liked Green Day "before they were popular"...who cares?

I say stop being bitter. Stop trying to keep the sport from becoming comercialized...let freedom ring!! (sorry...got carried away on that last part. You guys get my point)

The fact that you equate commercialization and freedom scares me.

i'm glad that MMAs getting popular and treated as an actual sport now, but i'm not too high on the amount of ignorance a lot of fans are bringing to it. it reminds me of the people that say they watch nascar for the car crashes or hockey just for the fights.

The ignorance comes from the new fans, and it's starting to get to me as well honestly.

it's so irritating to explain to my friends that pride and ufc are paying the greatest fighters in the world. i mean, sure someone could be in a smaller organization now and become champion one day. but that's not my point. my point is is that if a fighter was so good at fighting, then dana white or whomever would pay them a shit load of money to make chuck liddell look like a bitch. too bad bruce lee isn't alive and in his prime. lol. he was so fast. fucking amazing at wing chun and trapping people.
