Thanks, I didn't know that. I thought it was some sort of tradition or a way of honoring their trainer or something. I just noticed a lot of fighters have the name and are from all over the world.

yeah man their seems to be a shitload of Silva's in MMA. It was actually a good question. It's just a common name. There are other emerging Silva's to look out for like HW Antonio Silva of K-1 HERO's. He's gonna be another good one.
