pretty damn good line up so far. Mishima vs Stevenson should be a great match up between 2 good LW. Graison Tibau is a good newcomer to the UFC out the Nova Uniao camp, where Vitor "Shaolin Ribeiro trains. He should match up well with Diaz. Mir/Vera should be fun to watch as well. The 2 title fights speak for themselves.

Looks good aside from the Monson vs Sylvia fight. I see many many jabs off of the back foot of Sylvia. Monson will get pickd apart, jab after jab. He has Shamrock lenght arms and Silvia has ogre arms. It is going to be a really difficult fight for the snowman.

I gues Vera will fight AA for teh #1 contender spot after they are both victorious in their next fights.

If vera wins, he will get the next title shot.

AA will probably need about 3-4 wins before he gets another. No need for sylvia to fight him again as he just beat him twice this year. Even though there is no one else besides monson, vera, and AA (possibly mir if he reverts form) that are serious title contenders.

Awesome main event, then finally a different HW fight than Sylvia-Arlovski, Mir-Vera should be really interesting, if true Stevenson-Mishima will be a great fight, always good to see Diaz, and even with Imes I've got curiosity since he's such a big dude - if he picks things up quickly he could be a challenger for Sylvia sooner rather than later.

Brad has had problems with breathing and sleep apnea for many years. I’m sure you can appreciate how not getting proper rest and fighting/training like you’ve got a broken nose could be a challenge.

On 9/9/06 it had been about a week since Brad’s second nasal surgery. The first one was to correct his deviated septum and clean up some additional structural problems. He first had his nose broke when he was only two years old. When doing the surgery, they found a large growth/tumor. The doctors speculate that the tumor could have been there since he was a child, thus a second surgery was scheduled to remove it.

Brad is signed to fight at UFC 65 on November 18. He doesn’t yet know who his opponent will be, except it won’t be Tim Sylvia. Brad said he has always had to “pace himself” in fights because of breathing problems affecting his cardio. I am looking forward to seeing the difference enhanced training and improved cardio will make in his performance. GO BRAD!

In the meantime, Brad is continuing to train in Iowa at the main MFS (Miletich) camp, and occasionally doing seminars at his MFS affiliate school in Missouri. His current project is helping put together a promotion and guest refereeing at Cage Rage 3, scheduled for Saturday September 16 at the 3 Trails Expo Center in Kansas City, MO. I agree with the jabs, but what if, and it is a big what if, Monson actually can get him to the ground? When is the last time we saw Sylvia fight off his back? Come to think of it, never. He was on his back for a second before AA got him in their first fight but I can't remember him ever fighting from the guard on his back. IF Monson can get him down, I would Monson a chance to pull off the upset. Anyone else have thoughts on that match up?

I am a sylvia fan but I think monson upsets sylvia. He does give up height and reach but thats been his story his entire career. He will have to eat some punches but he will get sylvia down and sylvia will tap if he is conscience.
