im just wondering why some of you feel that the big announcement would be the IFL purchase . seriously, that just doesn't seem like a logical PR move to announce on TV IMO. and most people who watch Spike may have no idea what the IFL is. most casual fans only know the MMA as the UFC, and thats it. im sure Dana would save that for a press conference or something.

it's most likely Anderson vs. Cote, or something to do with UFC 89 being on Spike. and why not, since they'd be watching 84 on Spike at the time.

He may just flat out say that the winner of Chuck/Evans gets a shot at Forrest. I don't expect anything big but more on the lines of that.

...especially one that took place back in May, and unless you've been hiding under a rock... you know the results already. It's harder to get into a fight you already know who the winner is over a live fighting event. IMO, anyways.

I hope it is. I'd love to watch Bisping vs. Leben for free.

If Anderson Silva fights on the card though, I doubt it'll be free. So they'll probably push his fight to UFC 90 and be the headliner. Just makes 'Dana White' sense to me.
