That's pointless.
GSP would need to lose his leg to make 155.

The winner should fight Silva.

If Penn can't sub GSP.... then GSP takes another decision with his amazing cardio, take downs, and speed.

Penn isn't going to submit him, he's going to get a TKO. My guess is after about the 3rd round of Penn outboxing him, GSPs face will look like hamburger meat, and the fight is stopped with him still sitting on his stool.

Gotta go ahead and disagree with you there Bob...

Sure Penn has shown improved cardio against 155 lb guys. GSP will take him down and grind him for the first 2-3 rounds and his combination of speed, strength, and size will wear Penn out (yes, even if it is just him continually trying to keep Georges in guard and battling for position). I say that GSP takes it in the late rounds or by decision.

Just because Sherk was an idiot and tried to wear Penn out by letting him jab him in the face 150 times while he swung wildly does not mean GSP will. He and his camp will have an excellent game plan. Both have improved since the last fight, but I think GSP has made more significant strides, largely because I also feel that GSP has the much better camp.

I'm going to disagree Brad,
GSP couldn't take Penn down until Penn gassed. This will be no different. If Penn gasses, you're right. If he doesn't, which is my guess, GSP takes a beating.

If this fight happens, i'd put a 6 month sig bet on Penn. And i've never done a sig bet.

Yeah, I haven't done too many either, but because you are someone I respect on here, I will do a sig bet with you when the time comes.

And to be fair, Georges tried to take BJ down once in round one with a single leg takedown from the clinch. BJ did defend it quite well, but it is not like Penn was shrugging off TD attempts left and right. Once GSP committed to really going for the takedown, he got them. St. Pierre was successful on 4 of his 5 takedown attempts. Call it gassed or not, but with the exception of that one, he got every one that he tried for.

I am down for the bet, but can we rule out the homo-erotic things? If Penn wins, I will have no problem displaying something to the extent that he was the better man/ fighter etc...

I'll gladly take over your sig for a year. I'll already have it for a while starting on the 9th anyways. Having it for a year can't hurt.

But since this is such a huge bet,I say we make some guidelines. I don't wanna lose my sig for a year over some bullshit call/ending. If the fight ends via DQ,Cut,or freak injury, all bets are off. PM me and lemme know if you're down...pussy.
Yeah thats the only way your going to keep your sig with your bitch rules.
