PRIDE's PPVs are regularly $34.99. This is a special 4 hour PPV that will cost $39.99. Whoever said that all PPVs have 4 hour time slots is full of shit. Regular PPVs have a 3 and a half hour time slot for the original PPV shown. That's because they have the half hour preview bull shit, after that all replays have 3 hour time slot. This PPV has a 4 hour time slot, which hasn't been done since Bushido 9.

PRIDE might not be as popular in the US or UK, but that's about it. In Asia, Brazil, and Eastern Europe they are extremely popular and it's the reason they pull in 25-40 thousand attendence for a show in Japan.
PRIDE's deal with Fuji TV would be like the UFC having a TV deal with ABC or CBS. Fuji TV is major shit in Japan, not some rinky dink cable channel like Spike TV. PRIDE is working on a new TV deal, possibly with Nippon TV.
It must suck because it's not american and you are clueless to it's doings right?

Only a moron would include a FREE preview as being part of a PAY per view. The preview and the ppv event itself are seperate as you can watch the FREE preview for FREE but you have to PAY for the PAY per view.

I order every UFC and PRIDE event and their original PPV timeslot for the live and in PRIDE's case delayed event has a 3 and half hour time slot because of the free preview, after that it's all 3 hour time slots.
I guess my digital cable providers are morons then, because have have a 3 and half hour time slot for the PPVs. That's why whenever I order it at 7 PM(when the UFC starts live) it says that the program has already started.
btw, what's with all the gay winks?

btw, what's with all the gay winks? | If you order it on satellite and press "info" it lists the running time as 4 hours. And it repeats for 24 hours. You can watch the free preview show on satellite for free as it's listed as a seperate event in the guide. When a UFC event goes live, it's over in 3 hours on the mark (including any prelim fights they show). So I guess you dont know shit?

This just in:Satellite and Digital Cable are different. Crazy huh? I don't have satellite, I have digital cable buddy. Satellite have much more PPV channels than cable so they can allow longer time slots for special PPV events. Digital cable has a normal running time slot function that blocks of certain special PPVs. With digital cable it only runs the allowed 3 hours.
I've never seen a single UFC PPV run past the 3 hour time slot, have you? Also since you have a 4 hour block you get to see all the prelims?
The PRIDE 32: The Real Deal event is showing every fight, which is why the event will have a 4 hour block for digital cable subscribers. It will have no dark matches.

| Nope. After three hours it goes off the air (basically anyway) and an hour after that it starts again and does this for 24 hours. i have no idea why they do it but its just the way it's done via satellite. Quote: |

| That's all I was wondering when I asked that.
