| Cro Cop Getting Ready For September, Fighting Overeem. MMA-ID: MMA Profiles, MMA Videos, MMA News | CROCOP Quote:
Hi everyone, I'm excited to let you know that my recovery has been going really well and I've recently restarted my MMA training routines. So far I had no troubles with my leg and I'm positive that all problems with it are behind me. It's good to be back to my full training regiment and I have no doubts that I'll be 100% ready to fight very soon.
I was asked by the members of media if I'm willing to fight Overeem since we challenged me twice already. I watched DREAM 5 and I was happy to see a strong heavyweight match-up on the card, I have no doubts that DREAM will put more match-ups like that in the future. It was a very good performance by Alistair I must say. I'm happy to accept his challenge and I'm looking forward to this fight as I believe that we can deliver an entertaining fight. Now it's up to DREAM to make this fight happen, I'm ready to face my challenger on the next show already.
I see many people speaking about me as a washed-up fighter but this is just another boost to my motivation. I'm working hard to get back on track and meeting and defeating strong competitors in the ring is all that I think of nowdays.
| Hopefully his kicking abilities will be upto scratch, i want to see Alistair suffer.

sounds like cro-cop has motivation to kick some heads again! it's great that he can hear people talk down about him and his past few performances, but all in all the dude's a beast and i hope he gets the recognition he deserves. WAR CRO-COP no matter where he ends up

Alistair's striking is looking really impressive these days. Even though one would reflexively think his striking cannot be > Cro Cop's, Overeem is really ascendant these days while CC is not. Stranger things have happened, I expect it to be a good war.
Obviously I want to see CC emerge victorious, and I think Overeem is a great test of where CC is these days.

I'd like nothing better than CC to kick Overeem's head over the moon, but I have to admit he looked pretty good against Hunt. Granted, Hunt hadn't fought in almost two years, but AA did take the fight on real short notice.

Lets be honest CC hasn't looked on top of his game as of late and with Overeems total dismantling of Hunt I don't see CC doing much to him. Overeem is on a tear as of late and he has gotten so much better I think he has the heart that he has always lacked in the past. So I am gonna call Overeem on this one.

j/k I'm just happy to see him fight again and ask for a good fight one way or the other. I hope he's not planning any on Affliction/Fedor bouts though..
