Elite question not a spoiler I have a question and there isn't an easy way to ask it. Does anyone else find it odd that Elite booked four fights, 2 that were slated for 5 rounds, on a two hour event? The main event isn't going to start until 9:45. It begs the question that a friend of mine just asked me. Is there something shady going on? I don't think so but it does seem odd that they schedule fights in that fashion. |

I find it more interesting that they mentioned the UFC and WEC so often. I wasn't paying that much attention but I kept hearing them mention Anderson Silva and even called him the UFC champ/one of the best P4P. Strange.... I also briefly heard them compare Big Foot to Fedor and I almost choked on my Smirnoff. |

And, correct, only four fights were aired. Don't worry, I'm giving no spoilers in this thread. One fight was scheduled to be a swing bout for CBS in the event it was needed. |
I dont understand What kind of shady business are you talking about do you think they are fixing fights or what. And they kept mentioning Anderson because he was there. He and Big Nog cornered one of the fighters |

My friend was refering to the fights being fixed. Why wouldn't they at least sufficient time for the four fights, which is what I clearly stated in my first thread? If all the fights had gone the distance they wouldn't have had enough time to cover them all. So I guess the question is doesn't it at least seem that the results of the fights might have already been known? |
I apologize for not being clear enough. |

Rogan will sometimes break ranks and do it, but when he does it's almost always just mentioning the fighter by name and not the org he fights for, and if you're a casual fan and know nothing about the guy, the reference just flies over your head. |
