I love Gina.....I mean as a fighter, too. But I don't think she has enough testosterone to hang with Cyborg.
EliteXC would be foolish to throw their (arguably) most popular fighter to the wolf/lion/medusa/banshee anytime soon (this is not bashing - I think she's a great fighter and would love a roll in the hay with her, too! LOL).
But how could they come up with enough women to create a second weight class? Especially since those 2 would destroy all comers in each respective class?
I really don't know what I would do in their position.
What would you all do?

Who would be the favorite in this fight? Cyborg looked great but I have no idea on either level of skill because they have so little experience. Sounded like the fight was going to their next fight.

Ginas fighting on the October CBS card,they asked if she'd fight Cyborg and she said "let's do this" so I'm guessing that's the next fight.

I think they have to do it sometime, but I'd probably milk it for awhile

Yeah - I heard that. I just wonder if they'd really do it so soon, or if they'll continue to hype it. Then again, they're not UFC - they need to make money sooner rather than later.

yeah thats the thing, they cant really afford to draw it out because if the next show dosnt do some decent numbers cbs may pull the plug

I think its on the next CBS card I think Caranos got a good chance I mean Cyborg looked like a beast but Baszlers striking is nowhere near as good as Ginas it should be a good fight the women always go all out and end up being one of the best fights on the card

The rumor is that Gina fights Kelly Kobald in October but that could potentially change. I voted 2 fights later though, because I'm not sure just how firm the fight between Gina and Kelly is.

I hope the fight happens at any time. Gina's one of their cash cows and I don't think they want to risk her getting stomped out. You have to admit Cyborg looked pretty good and it's not like she beat some scrub.

I can't imagine gina trying to stand and trade with her after that performance
