Franklin is a great fighter, I never said he wasn't. However I do think that there are different levels of fighters that could be considered great, and I don't think Franklin is at the top of that list. Also I didn't say that UFC sucks because Anderson Silva dominated two fighters that the UFC hyped to the roof. I am just saying that once the UFC brings in more international talent, then you will see who will be able to stay at the top of the UFC, and if that does happen, Franklin won't be the first champ that is looked upon as unstoppable to get dominated in a shocking fassion.
My argument does not come from two Anderson Silva fights, it's a fact that there are many top tier fighters that are not in the UFC. There are more great fighters spread out over other federations than on UFC rosters. It's just a fact that there are many fighters in the UFC that would not be considered as good as they are if the face higher level talent. For instance, do you think Mike Swick would be considered a real contender if all the MMA fighters in the world were in one big fed? Sometimes I think that people don't want to believe that UFC has a lot of hype sometimes and not enough talent to back it up all the time.
