Yeah I am excited to see him make his Pride debut. I think it could end up like Wand vs Nakamura. Nakamura's only chance is to get a sub on him. I just don't see him going toe to toe with Cyborg. Should be a good fight either way.

Cyborg might have problems with Nakamura. He started off good but in his big fights lately, Cyborg has been slipping. Nakamura brings it with him every time out and has beaten a lot more credible opponents than people give him credit for. I'll take Nakamura by decision.

The rest of the card (the tourney) looks awesome to me. While many people might think they're all blow away matches, I'll go as far as saying not one is a sure-thing. As we've talked about before with Fujita/Silva, Silva probably won't be knocking Fujita out and Fujita should be able to get takedowns. That alone complicates that fight. Look at CroCop/Yoshida. If CroCop is going to lose, how will it happen? A Submission guy will tap him out or a better striker would out strike him. Yoshida can very well submit CroCop. He'll have a fun time trying to get him down on the ground to do it, but it's quite possible. Hunt/Barnett I'd say is a pick'em if not Barnett being favored, however most will probably favor Hunt in this one. Much like CroCop's entrance into the sport I still feel anyone who can take Hunt down without problems should handle him. Yoshida tapped him out, Bobish pulverized him until gassing. Barnett should be able to take him down and pound the shit out of him or submit him. All a matter of if he does that soon enough instead of striking with him too long. And with Werdum/Nog you know even though Nog should be able to out-box him without much problems, it's going to the ground and when you got two guys as good at jiu-jitsu rolling around with knees, punches, etc. added to the mix - shit happens. I'd say Nog over Werdum is the best bet of the show and even it isn't a sure thing. Great tournament line-up, can't wait.

Fedor is still recovering from hand surgery. He hasn't fought since the NYE show vs Zuluzinho. Most likely we won't see him fight again till October.

damn, hopefully he doesn't get injured like this in the future. we need more Fedor fights.

anyway, how many Emelianenko brothers are there? i heard there is a 3rd one, he's like 18 i think and in training.

Not sure, haven't heard about mini-Emelianenko yet.

Fedor has a history with this hand injury, I hope this is the last time it occurs but with how hard he punches and shit and the fact that the injury keeps re-appearing (and at the worst possible times too) leads me to believe this stupid injury will keep ruining things. First it took the steam off Fedor-CroCop, now it's left Fedor out of the OWGP. Fortunately in this case, Silva in and Fedor out actually makes the tournament more competitive and unpredictable. With Fedor in it, it's really a matter of who's going to be the other guy in the finals who will ultimately lose to Fedor. With Fedor out, shit it's anyone's tourney to win now - except Fujita and Yoshida lol.

a broken hand is one of those injurys that just gets easier to re injure every time you break it. same thing goes for a seperated shoulder or something like that.
