tol was correct, a newfie is some-one from newfoundland, kinda like an irishman, high spirited, great sence of humour but never angry, when you meet one you will know. | Thanks for answering my questions Tapper. Newfies sound like my kinda folks. That's my word of the day and I plan on impressing the next Canadian I meet by using it. I used to have a Canadian working for me, she completely embarrassed us all by being able to name the 50 states almost as quick as us and we could come up with about 4 provinces. It was time to get out the map after that experience.
Good luck to your boy. Hope GSP makes it!

Renzo's another one who always seems to be smiling.
BTW, off topic, but I have been appreciating your first hand experience with muay tai. In a couple of these threads you have gone into the sort of detail that is hard to know without training in the discipline. Thanks for your input.

my sister lives down in newfie.
funny thing about gsp, he trains with the crow, stout, and with cote, but the others never train together.

haha newfies
I used to live with a newfie... always saying crazy shit. a few of the words I could decipher were mudder(mother) brudder, fadder, always said "where's it to then?"
[Side note] toughest guy I ever met. Crashed his car at 11pm avoiding a moose, severed the last section on his pinky, index and middle finger and then walked 16km in -32C before he was picked up at taken to the hospital.

I hate to burst your bubble, but after GSP fights Hughes he is never going to look the same again.
