my first post by the way, not that it sheds any factual light on the recent rumors of gsp being hurt again, but my son and i did attend a seminar held by gsp last weekend, oct 7,8(see picture). gsp showed no signs of any injuries and when always asked about his health and if he was ready for matt, he always said he felt great and was ready.
now he could have got hurt since, or this rumor could be bull, but as of last week his lips said he was good to go.

shit i dont want him to pull out again. im confident in him beating matt hughes. however i thought that hughes would just run through penn just because he didnt take him serousally the first time, but id have to say that penn was the better fighter that night.

him being a french canadian like us, and my son being the youngest guy there, he made us feel like we already had met. he's very upbeat with a newfie's sence of humor, always laughing (when not instructing) even then he gets a few in.

What a great experience for you and your son to have together. How old is your boy?

Also, what does "newfie's" mean

Newfies if hes using the way I think, are people from the Province of Newfoundland, Theyre known for there kind of crazy way of talking such as

"Stay were you are, Ill come were your at" or stuff like that, crazy people

my boy is 11 years old, and will be competing in his first bjj tourney this month. he was in awe of gsp, we've been to alot of mma seminar's but this was his fav, we got alot of pics and some autographs.
there is a big tourney next month, gsp said he will try to be there.
tol was correct, a newfie is some-one from newfoundland, kinda like an irishman, high spirited, great sence of humour but never angry, when you meet one you will know.

yeah i met jorge and louisau at ufc 57. they were both really nice guys. and a guyi know that trains at renzo's place in new york rolled with him before the penn fight. they both came down to get in some bjj from renzo for the usa vs canada event.
