| The UFC Edited Roger Huerta to Promote His Fight The UFC Edited Roger Huerta to Promote His*Fight - Bloody Elbow Quote:
I just came across this interview (MMA Madness™ - MMA Insight™ News - Big Mac Attack Volume 3: "I'm not saving anything for the trip back" An Uncensored Roger Huerta Exclusive) with Roger Huerta at MMA Madness that everyone should check out. He addresses a lot of things, but this really caught my attention: Quote: |
They put these videos on the UFC where I said the fight was going to be a "cakewalk". They f#@%ing pissed me off because what I was saying is that, COMPARED TO MY LIFE, this fight is a cakewalk. It was in no way a disrespect to Kenny, it's just with all the s@#t I've been through as a kid, fighting Kenny is a cakewalk. Anyway…when it comes down to it, it really is just a fight…it's just a fight.
| This is a pretty shady tactic, because it made him look like a prick, and turned a lot of people against him.
|
That's fucked up and hilarious at the same time.

Is this supposed to suprise people? The UFC has done this countless times
huge example:
Franca saying saying Sherk was a good fighter who wasn't experienced never happend, he said that Kenny Florian (who sherk just beat) was a good fighter but he didn't have alot of experience. The UFC has probably done that to everyone

not really suprised, just trying to promote a fight. Huerta has a right to be mad I guess though.

Anyway, saw the preview of the countdown and most of it shows Huerta's childhood.

I'm becoming more and more a fan of Huerta's as each day passes. I like it when someone rises up and attempts to smite the right hand of the UFC. I love the UFC but like government, their feet needs to be held to the fire to keep them honest.
I liken them to the Oakland Raiders. Their my favorite team and I will always be loyal. However, Al Davis, who in the beginning had the interests of the fans and team at heart, has changed and is so damn selfish, he's damaging them and his ego won't allow him to see it.

I actually don't mind they guy as a person, but I find myself always putting him down just becuase of how easy of a run he has had in the UFC, and how easy it is for the UFC to sway peoples opinions.
