I am not sure if anyone else has made this observation but as I was rewatching the fight for the upteenth time and had the volume cranked up, I noticed that when that huge knee to Franklins face lands, you can hear his nose break.

Anyone or everyone else catch this?

It kinda did, it doesn't hurt to have posted a thread about it as there maybe a bunch of people who were not aware that you can hear the snap as his nose breaks from the knee that would liek to know so when they watch it they can check it out as well.

I should of made a thread stating that I just looked up the info on Kit Cope from True Life: I'm a Muay Thai Fighter and found out he fought Kenny Florian and lost at the TUF2 finale, which I didn't know since I never saw the fight.

dagreat1, just watch the rest of the fight after that knee in slow motion and you'll notice that the 4 shots thrown by silva barelly hit franklin and he goes down.

thats the second time i heard this. what fight are you watching? after he broke his nose he let him out of the clinch. franklin checks his nose, silva throws a round kick that is partially blocked but obviously still felt, then follows with three more and silva imediatly clinchs again, and lands one more knee to richs head, and good nite.the second time anderson let him out of the clinch he was done. you could tell that the knees had really effected him, and he really didnt want to fight anymore. c'mon guys i like franklin too, but all this fantom punch bullshit and and "rich threw the fight" or "he was sad before the fight" is really old. are you guys really going to talk about this same shit until they fight again?? because it's not going to be for atlest 8 to 9 months.

Yes, rich did not throw this fight show Silva some respect and except the fact he beat the tar out of franklin. They will fight again and Silva will just walk through him again

that was a funny fight because Kenny looked quite small. it should have ended in the first but time ran out while Kenny was cranking an arm bar. And he finished it with a rear naked choke in the second. Kit Cope was making excuses that his arm dislocated or something when he fell into the cage. Poor guy; a thai legend getting beat up by Kenny but that's the nature of MMA. Incase you're curious, Cope signed with the WFA.

That fight had some drama. I actually felt sorry for Florian when the fight started. Joe Rogan built Cope up like he was the baddest man on the planet with all these titles, and Cope was ripped to shreds. He actually did hit Florian hard a couple of times in the first round, and I thought he was going to kill Kenny. BJJ in this fight was the great equalizer. Cope was bent over and wincing in pain after an armbar submission.

silva is a great fighter. but i still don't think franklin was himself. i mean, usually he throws guys down and grapplers occasionally. it was a weird fight. silva will beat a few guys and maybe franklin will beat him in a rematch.
