| Im still confused about the Dan Lauzon fight
I still dont understand an 18 year old of his size comin in there with a 30 year old.. and doing what he did!
watchin the fight, he had Fisher on the ground, he had Fisher coverin his face, he was hurtin Fisher and he coulda won the first round
the guy looked small from where I was sitting, didnt see much muscle on the guy, he looked weak.. and he was 18 years old.. Fisher should of had a major strength advantage over this guy
but still hes able to compete with a guy like Fisher at his age? that is just amazing to me, and hes choked out other guys
I guess BJJ and some good takedowns are your best friend, I mean to me Kenflo looks mad weak too but look how he hung in there with Sean Sherk.. he went 5 rounds which was unexpected IMO
Im still shocked at Lauzon's performance though.. I cant believe hes only 18.

I think he did a very nice job considering he is just 18. Isn't his brother the one that upset Little Evil? His brother is pretty bad and he admits that the younger brother is better. It was very impressive.

I agree. I think the kid has a lot of potential. And being only 18, hes got a hell of a lot of time to improve. He could have 5 years of UFC experience under his belt and be only 23. That is gross.

you dont have to look strong to be strong. thats like saying a 155 guy has no knock out power. he looked great especially considering he took the fight on 2 weeks. he might have won if he had proper time to train

It took balls to take that fight. Hats off to that kid. He went out and fought like a man. I wish they would not have thrown that kid in with a friggin' beast the likes of Spencer Fisher. I think he was a replacement, but those brothers have a real good shot at being fan favorites because of their underdog status and because they look like skinny little kids. The fans already are buzzing because his brother knocked out Jens. These kids come to fight! Think back to when you were 18. The Octogon, bright lights, Pay Per View, and and you have to face a mutant like Spencer Fisher -and not freeze!

I've seen some of the submission wrestling of both brothers and they are smooth and quick. I think w/ proper time for conditioning he could have been very competitive w/ Fisher. It will be exciting to watch them evolve

The beginning of that fight was all about leverage, it doesn't matter how strong you are if you know what sort of pressure is needed to take someone down. I had him winning 10-8 in that round until they got stood up and Mr. Young Gun got KTFO.

With the kid being 18 and taking that fight on 2 weeks notice, he did DAMN good. If the Lauzon brothers are with a good camp, he could be a force in the future. Like someone else mentioned he can put in 5 years of training and experience (UFC and smaller shows) and still on be 23. Thats insane when you think about it.

i think both lauzons are going to end up a force in the UFC, maybe not dan for a couple years, but knocking out little evil is a helluva way to make a name for yourself
