Default Hughes vs St Pierre Predictions
I honestly think that St Pierre will be toughest challenger Hughes has every had for his welterweight title but thats just me. I see this fight ending in the 3rd round(TKO) and you'll have a new welterweight champion. What do you guys think?

This one is no prediction George St Pierre will be the new welterweight champion he will make Hughes look weak.

I think that it's going to be a very close fight. These two guys will have good game plans and I can see it going the distance. I think that if it goes the distance, GSP will have the win. But if it's by submission it will be Hughes that will get it. I don't think we will see a KO in this fight.

Hughes (T)KO in the 3rd. GSP could take it early but I think he will be worn down and finished (I hope I'm wrong)

Monson Sub in the 1st. Sylvia could get the KO if he uses his knees, but I can't see his jab being effective and he will be taken down and subbed (I hope I'm right)

Very hard to predict these fights confidently - should be a good show.

It will go exactly like it did their first fight, except GSP isn't going to make a rookie mistake. I feel Hughes was exposed by BJ and GSP (even though he knew the formula in their first fight) knows how to take advantage of any fighter's weakness. And honestly, I can't find a blatant weakness in GSP's game he is just too well rounded. Isn't he a purple belt in BJJ? If Hughes wins this one like a fluke just like he did against BJ it will be the only way he is going to win.

I dont think you could call Hughes v. Penn a fluke, Penn completely commited to the sub attempt w/ a reverse triangle/ arm bar and did not have the strength to keep the arm extended. He gassed, the injury helped however if it happens during the fight because you put yourself a vulnerable position shit happens. This GSP v. Hughes will be decided by who can enforce their game plan. If GSP can keep the fight standing he will dominate Hughes but if Hughes can get half mount or some dominant position after the 3rd round I would see it going to Hughes. Munson is a great submission fighter, however w/ Sylvia's leg size his sprawl is amazing(the only successful take down I can remember is v. Mir where he just falls into Mirs guard) I think because of the height advantage it will be the jab that makes the difference.

i can't belive you have said if matt wins it will be by a fluke, thats horse shit, if matt wins it is because he is the best, he hasnt beat everyone because of a fluke it is because he is great, if gsp wins it will be because he game ready and was better that night but to say he will only win on a fluke is crap
