Yeah i've only been to ottawa once and don't really know about the city all that much.

but Toronto is the place the ufc is likely licking their lips at. If in the next year they get to have events in New York and Toronto than the ufc will explode imo.

Having an event in Toronto is pure brilliance for the UFC, I can't wait until they legalize it here. The Multi-cultural community would basically ensure a sell out no matter who is fighting on the card.

As for Ottawa, I agree with tmlfan. With the poor placement of the Scotia Bank arena, it would suck for people to get to. (See the late early '00's Senators)

I think Montreal would be rubble at the end of the night if they were to host the NYE card there and get a BJ/GSP fight on there.

This is an old article, since GSP won I think talk has been early 2009 for him

although I havent seen anything saying that GSP will 100% be on the next Canadian card. But imho he needs to be on it. My excitement level drops significantly unless they put another huge name in his place. But from being at the last one, the excitement level was great as we had a Canadian to cheer for, made it much better imo. Seemed like everyone was on the same page, not all cheering for different people.
