I am picking Herring, GSP and kenflo, but I would not be surprised if any or all of my picks lost, all hard matchups to call.
The bigger question is how the hell is Manny Gamburyan vs. Rob Emerson in the main event over Cheick Kongo vs. Dan Evensen? |

Brock, being a wrestler, prolly doesnt like to be on his back much, will panic and make a rookie mistake. Herring will either catch him with a sub while hes bucking around panicing or Heath will unload elbows to his face and get the TKO stoppage.
VERY VERY bad fight for Brocks 3rd MMA fight, there really making him earn his paycheck! Hell even CC got to fight Eddie Sanchez! | LOL at this! i guess in CC's defense i can say he beat the crap out of plenty of tough HWs and had just one the OWGP at that point...so being fed Sanchez is all good LOL

Lesnar should win by 1st round "pound and ground" if he doesn't get caught by a sub..

Haha, it's kinda funny looking at some of the guys on the list picking Lesnar over Herring. Its kinda expected I guess. I pick Herring. I don't think Brock will overpower Herring and he can take him whether its standing or the ground.

If Lesnar comes out like he did against Mir and doesn't make some dumb mistake, I think he takes it. I honestly thought he was going to finish Mir until the sub.

I see a replay of Herring vs. Jake O'Brien. Herring gets embarrassed in the wrestling game again, and gets stopped in the 2nd round via GnP.
When Mir got up after submitting Lesnar, dude just looked glad that it was over. There was little celebration. I think if Mir doesn't get that leg right then, he wasn't going to make it out the first round. Hell, I thought he got very lucky the ref stopped it and gave him a chance to recover after his ostrich act in the first place. He was about 10 seconds from losing the fight.
For Lesnar to step in his first time in the cage and be that close to beating Frank Mir is really impressive to me. His experience performing in front of big crowds in the WWE really helps him in MMA.

Well I'm picking Lesner to win via brutal GNP 1st or 2nd round. He will over power Heath. Looking at Heath's record he hasn't knocked anyone out in over 2 years, and hasn't submitted anyone in over 4. I don't want to take anything away from Heath but I think way to many people are counting Lesner out because of experience. The man is an animal, strong as a bull, and go's for the kill. He will rush Heath and he will take him down right out the gate. Now the only way I see Heath winning this is he catches Brock comming in right at the begining of the fight or by Brock getting DQ'd for strikes to the back of the head. Please don't let Steve be the ref again cause no one needs that controversy again LOL.

Brock's got nothing Herring hasn't seen. Heath has better striking, a better sub game, and a more well-rounded GNP arsenal. Brock ain't gonna know what hit him.
Or at least he better not; I've got a sig bet riding on Herring.
