I dont really think Serra did worse against GSP than Matt Hughes did. Serra was controlled and dominated by GSP but so was Hughes in their 2nd and third fights, while getting TKO'd and having his arm ripped off in the process.

GSP/SerraII was like watching GSP beating on a dummy in practice

True, Serra offered little to no offense that fight.

IMO Serra should be fighting Alves at UFC 90 or so, Diego doesnt deserve a shot at Alves, as Diego is coming off 2 wins over top20's (at best) and Alves is coming of 2wins over top10's, one was top5, and he stopped them both.

But instead will get to see Diego get a huge jump up the ladder(which he doesnt deserve IMO) and we'll have to wait for Hughes to heal up and start training before we can see Serra fight again. oh well

My guess is that Serra will fight in December or January.

I was thinking, have Serra drop down to LW again and have him fight Frankie Edgar and put it on the November card.

Does anyone know anything about Serra's contract?
Hopefully never... But if he does, it will be against Hughes, and I pray Hughes destroys him...
