Brock Lesnor is a mountain of a man, my hat is off to Herrng simply because to the very end he was putting up as much of a fight as he could..... a 300 pound albino gorilla is a big monkey to have on your back. Honestly I think most of the UFC HW fighters would have given up long before the end of the last bell. Lesnor showed discipline and amazing control throughout the entire fight. He is still new to the sport and didnt want to get caught in a bad position, I think given time he will be a very serious threat for any HW in any org.

This one's a no brainer .We didn't see much in the Mir fight , it didn't last long enough to indicate much more than the fact that Lesnar is big , strong, mean, hits like a train, and has no JJ skill whatsoever . I didn't see his first MMA fight , but last night made the above things even more obvious. When he learns JJ he will be scary, and when he gets really good at it he will destroy anyone he fights . Now, if he wasn't so flippin overpowering, he would be a joke , but he beat a big ,strong , well rounded guy just by being bigger and stronger . Frank's lucky he didn't get his face rearranged like HH just did.

are you guys forgetting that tito got famous for his post fight antics? i personally like the excitement he showed, thats true passion for the sport.
now the riding of heath herring and the lasso after i laughed my ass off, common you have to see the irony there. and dana is loving the fact that he now has another popular and "controversal" fighter to market

I bet we will hear in a couple of years that Dan Miragliotta had put money on Lesnar and the eye poke was just to make certain that Lesnar won

Throwing a chair into the cage - come on man, that's just stupid. Quote:

I don't know if it is good for MMA, you get a guy winning who is not very well rounded, but is just that much bigger than the competition so he can use his size and wrestling ability to throw his opponent around (ie Coleman vrs Frye).
I don't know if many people will agree, but add another couple of weight classes, maybe 225 and 290 and then have it so you actually have to weigh the weight the time of the fight. So guys like GSP would actually fight at 185, Anderson Silva would fight at 205, Griffen would fight at 225, Nog would fight at the 265 weight class, and guys like Tim and Lesnar would fight at 290. | No, no, no, and No. Fighter safety comes first and having to weigh the weight at the time of the fight is just dangerous and stupid. You really think a fighter wouldn't still cut weight to be able to fight at that weight class? Fighters would be getting legitimately hurt and it would ruin the sport.
Here's the easiest comparison I can give you to how bad cutting weight is. Ever get travelers diarrhea or food poisoning? Remember how sick you were all day and not able to do anything. Remember the worst part of it when you couldn't eat or drink anything and keep it down? Now imagine that for 12+ hours and then having to go move an entire set of weights from one side of the gym to the other without a dolly. That's probably the closest I can get to explaining how bad it would suck

The one thing I want to address that a lot of people have been complaining about was Lesnar's refusal to take the back.
Sure he could've been uncomfortable doing it but seriously think about it for a second. He's a very dominant wrestler... as soon he takes the back, he turns this into a JJ fight with Heath possibly reversing him. Heath could've rolled into his guard, which is a very bad position for Lesnar to be in.
Lesnar did the right thing without taking his back and just controlling him from the the side/shoulder. When you do that, you keep it a wrestling match. Just look at the GSP/Serra II fight as an example. How many times could've GSP taken Serra's back? He didn't because if he did then it would've turned into a JJ match with Serra having the advantage. Similar thing how GSP did to Fitch.. he never took his back and the one time, he did... he got reversed with Fitch in his guard.
Someone at Brock's level should not take a fighter's back when they clearly have superior JJ. Brock did the right thing the whole fight. He did exactly what he was supposed to... play into his strengths and turn into a wrestling match!

Dont see why people are getting on his ass for his post fight antics. It really wasnt bad at all. He was obviously very excited having his first win in the octagon and being able to prove himself. He wanted to silence the critics and he got to do just that.
