look at Machida's opponents. Machida has wins over BJ Penn (who was at a severe weight disadvantage), Rich Franklin I agree with was a good fight and Franklin got knocked out as expected... Soko, it was his first fight, and he looked horrible... and Nakamura.. well, I find it funny that people think he's amazing. So thats 3 out of 13 wins that were against top level fighters. Yes Machida is a great fighter, but all I am saying is.. if people want to consider him a top 5 fighter, with possible title shot contentions.. don't you think he should prove himself first?

Machida went to a decision win against 2/3 of the top level opponents.
But he also went to a decision win against 7/10 lower level opponents.

I do not see whats so retarded about it. I personally think counting BJ Penn as an argument that Machida is amazing is the complete opposite of how I feel. I think it just proves that BJ Penn can hang with the best of the big boys. But if Penn got destroyed, I wouldnt think that, and I would think that Machida destroyed a great lightweight. If Faber moved up two weight classes to fight someone at welterweight, and got beat in a Unanimous decision, I wouldn't consider it a great win for the winner, but a great loss for Faber because he moved up two weight classes and it went to a decision.

Or if Matt Hughes moved up to light heavyweight to fight Shogun, like he joked about. If he lost a decision.. I would think that he still has it and should stay in the game. Depending on the decision. BJ penn didn't get dominated against Machida... and if Hughes puts up a decent fight, I wouldn't say that "wow, Shogun is amazing, he just beat Hughes"..

If you dont agree with me.. do you at least know what I'm saying?
You're a retard! Neg'd for GP!
