What do the fighters have to pay to put on the events? And being dropped happens if you lose and don't put on a good performance. That happens in every job/sport. If you don't preform you get the boot and I see nothing wrong with it. If you are not worth the money they are paying you they are going to stop paying you, it is just that simple.
It's not all about straight-up cash money. If it had been, he would have signed. Some people have other priorities, no matter how much cash is thrown at them, and Fedor would have lost the freedom to pursue those.

And signing over the rights to the footage of the best-publicized portion of your career simply because you hope to gain sponsors is very short-sighted. It's one thing if you're a nobody, fighting for $5K/$5K and just want to be able to support yourself fighting.

It's something different if you're the best HW to step into a ring when you know that the footage will be quite valuable in the future. You think Randy is getting royalties of any UFC card he headlined? Dana "owns his highlight reel."

Considering the entire fight of Fedor wrecking Sylvia could be shown in a single Nike commercial, it's hard to argue that his managers are fools.

Yeah but its like giving your soul to the devil. Its just that easy.

Yeah, what an @sshole! Dana loves to sh!t on anyone's name if there not in the UFC anymore. He's burning so many bridges now that eventually that will lead to the downfall of the UFC itself. But i do agree with him about Timmy.

BTW, the best HWs are in Affliction.
No one forced Randy to sign the contract, it was his choice.

Fedors the best. I'd actually say Fedor, GSP, Silva is the top three in that order. Just because Anderson Silva has cleaned out a weak UFC Middleweight division doesnt make him the man. Dana White telling you he is the man is what makes him the man.

Not to knock Anderson. But hes just not the best P4P Put fedor in there with Anderson. who do you honestly think would win. Fedor owns him
You know it all goes by how think a P4P ranking be critiqued. Some base it off if everyone where the same size who do you think would win. Others base it off straight up potential. I on the other hand think it should fall under the same criteria as normal rankings in that you rate one's performance against his contemporaries for around that last three years.

So with that being said I don't see how you can not make A Silva the #1 guy. His resume is more impressive then anyones. However, you say that he is fighting in a weak weight class. Now I agree that the MW division is not great but if it is weak then that is bc it's so top heavy. And Anderson has been beating the top guys. Franklin twice, Henderson, and Marquardt are top tier fighters and he finished them all within two rounds. So imo as of right now Anderson is the number one guy not bc Dana says he is but bc his performance and resume just can not be matched.

Why would he want to sign his life away to a stomach ulcer like Dana White. Plus, there's no competition for Fedor in the UFC anymore. He'd murder Werdum and Lesnar and has already murdered Nog and Herring. If he signs with the UFC now, people would be knocking him for the lack of competition thing again.

Quote:
“He’s not the best pound-for-pound fighter, not even close, but he’s one of the four or five best heavyweights,” said White, who undoubtedly would be singing Emelianenko’s praises to the heavens the moment he got the stoic Russian’s name on a UFC contract.

“But we all have to thank him for getting rid of Tim Sylvia. He’d been stinking out the joint the last couple of years and Fedor did everyone a favor by beating him so easily and getting rid of him.”

This is the most vile, disgusting bullshit a President of a company has ever publicly stated about former and potential fighters.

1)You say Fedor is 4th or 5th best heavyweight, name 3 that are better you miscreant.

2)Your disdain for Sylvia was unfounded. It was supposed to be amicable split and he's been nothing but respectful to you and the UFC since he left. There's no reason to trash the dude, like him or not. For the record, not only would he beat all of your heavyweights, he was doing a pretty good job of tooling your champ, as much as I respect Nog, before he made a mistake and got submitted.

Dana White in my opinion is worse than the sweat of Kevin Ferguson's nut sack and dead end beard hairs.
