|  GSP To Not Fight Until 2009?

I had four fights in the past 12 months. So I need rest. I like my life, but sometimes I have to relax…. I make so many sacrifices for me prepare. During training camps I can hardly live. Therefore, I need to refuel psychologically.”
For now it sounds like the proposed end of the year match between St. Pierre and BJ Penn might not take place as has been rumored and hoped by MMA fans and journalists alike. It will be interesting to hear if St. Pierre still feels the same way in a month or so.

I'd like to see GSP lose the title in Canada. I think that would be sweeeeeet.
I still hope the fight takes place NYE though.

Maybe this will give BJ time to fight some top 5 WW competition like he shold have to in order to get a title shot

Why should the champ of the LW division have to fight a top WW guy to get a shot? All that will happen is that someone would end up NOT getting the shot at the WW belt from the loss.

Bummer!!! I really want GSP to fight Bj in December in Vegas. If they fight in Vegas im going to fly there to watch what will hopefully be the best card ever put together by the UFC
